Aer Arann is to axe its service between Cork and Belfast City Airport next month. The route, which currently as one return rotation per day, will cease to operate from August 31.
The flights - along with the Aer Arann service between Dublin and Cork - have been 'suspended' because the plane used to operate them is being returned at the end of its lease. They will only be reintroduced if the airline expands its fleet - which seems unlikely at this point. Passengers with bookings after August 31 will be refunded.
