Birmingham airport celebrated reaching one million passengers in a month for the first time in almost two years. Stewart Robinson of Malvern became Birmingham Airport's millionth passenger on Sunday 31st July when he flew out to San Diego via Newark with Continental Airlines.
July 2005 was the first month a million passengers travelled through Birmingham airport's doors in a single month since August 2003. Staff celebrated, and Mr Robinson looked a little bemused at all of the fuss.
