Bristol Airport passed a passenger landmark yesterday. More than 6 million people have passed through the airport over the last 12 months - a new record.
When the airport opened in 1957 just 33,000 people a year passed through its terminal. The 6 million mark was passed when check-in opened for Air France's 11:05 departure to Paris Charles de Gaulle yesterday.
