A major international chain will to open Coventry's newest hotel next week, an ideal stop before a flight from Coventry airport. The four star Ramada Hotel Coventry cost £15 million to build, and involved the total refurbishment of the old British Telecom Tower, near the city centre.
The 166-bedroom hotel, which includes a gym on the old car park next door. is ready for a 'soft launch' next week. New Manager, Navid Quraishi, said: 'We will be having a 'soft opening' of the hotel next week when a party of German visitors will be arriving to try us out before making group reservations for next year.'
'Our leisure trade will include many tour group bookings from places like Germany, France, Japan and China. But we will also be catering for business visitors flying in to Coventry Airport and attending events at the NEC and Stoneleigh Park,' Quraishi added.
