Iceland Express Gatwick - New York Newark flights have become a permanent fixture on its schedule. The budget airline made the decision as the service, launched in June and operated via its home base in Reykjavik, is achieving an average load factor of 90%.

The 4 times weekly flights were initially announced as a summer only service. Fares are from £299 return including taxes, which Iceland Express has promised to continue all year round, even during New York’s popular winter season.
