A new weekly route between Glasgow Airport and the resort of Hurghada in Egypt will be operated by FlyGlobespan this winter. The flights, which take off on November 5, are in addition to the airline's weekly winter service between Edinburgh and Sharm El Sheikh.
Flyglobespan recently appointed 128 new staff at its 3 Scottish bases - with 93 at Glasgow Airport - taking its total employee numbers to over 1300. The majority will be employed as cabin crew and were needed for the airline's summer expansion to Spain and North America.
