Virgin Atlantic is to begin a service from London and Ghana in West Africa, it has said. Subject to Government approval, Virgin plan to commence a 3-times-a-week service between Heathrow and the Ghanaian capital of Accra on May 24.
The company is to employ a 240-seat Airbus A340 airplane for the route, which will be Virgin's fifth service to Africa.
