Low-cost airline easyJet has Britain's favourite flight-booking website, according to a survey by Which?. The news comes a week after Hitwise said that easyJet was the UK's most poplar travel website.
A survey by the Which? Holiday magazine found that flights are the most popular online travel purchase, and 20% of those surveyed said easyJet is the best. BAs came a close second with 18% of respondents positively rating its ba.com website.
Lorna Cowan, editor of Which? Holiday, said: ‘While value for money is clearly important, ease of use is even more important. A website that is easy and quick to use could well turn a browser into a buyer.’
The survey results suggest that the most important features of a good booking website are ease of use, followed by value for money, and the ability to filter search results and compare different hotels or destinations.
People hate websites that require registration before searching, as well as websites that take a long time to load. They also do not like inflexibility with search dates.
