easyJet announced new flights between Manchester Airport and Alicante will take off in the Autumn. The budget airline, which only launched services from Manchester last month after its take over of GB Airways, will start its 4 times a week service on September 29.
easyJet expects to carry almost 60,000 passengers on the new route in the first 12 months, with flights already for sale from £27.99 one way including taxes. The airlines UK commercial manager, Carly Brear, said: ‘This is the first new route we have introduced at our new Manchester base, and we look forward to further expansion in the near future.'
