Norwich Airport has received another blow after it was revealed that more flights will be axed, the Norwich Evening News reports. Goldtrail Holidays has announced that it has scrapped its weekly services to Turkish destinations Bodrum and Dalaman for the summer peak season, of May to October.
The flights, operated by Turkish airline Onur Air, were axed because of a shortage of planes. No one from Goldtrail was available to comment. The move follows the loss of direct flights from the airport to Paris and Glasgow and reduced services to Guernsey announced by Flybe from the end of the month.
