Travelodge has negotiated a management lease on the Best Western Stansted Manor Hotel, close to Stansted Airport, with owners Compass Hotels. The budget hotel operator has entered into a 25-year lease contract to operate the 70-bedroom hotel, which will now undergo a full Travelodge conversion.
Set amidst 8 acres of woodland, the modern 3 star hotel currently features a restaurant, a conference / function room with capacity for 35, plus a marquee, which can accommodate approximately 200 people. The property is located three miles from Stansted Airport. Compass Hotels, which will continue to own the property, is entering into the lease agreement in order to concentrate on the hotel management contract aspect of its business.
